Symposium on Fruit Breeding and Genetics

We have a pleasure to inform you that the Department of Pomology WULS-SGGW
and the Committee of Horticultural Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences
will organise, under the auspices of the International Society of Horticultural Sciences
(ISHS), the XIII Eucarpia Symposium on Fruit Breeding and Genetics, that should be
held in Warsaw, Poland, on September 11-15, 2011. See: http://www.ishs.org/calendar.
The Symposium will be held in the Cristal Hall (Aula Kryształowa) located in the old campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS – SGGW), at the southern part the Warsaw (ca 10 km from city centre). University campus includes 13 faculties, student dormitories and sporting facilities over an area of 70 ha. Guest rooms and underground parking are available. WULS is the most frequently chosen university of life sciences in Poland. It has 25 000 students and 1200 scholars, offers 27 majors with 60 specialties. International co-operation in different fields of research and education is carried out with over 200 foreign universities and institutes of 45 countries.

The official language of the meeting will be English.
